How do I import my roster from iCal?

Open Settings → Roster sync and paste your airline's iCal feed URL. Aerolog will auto-sync new duties in the background and add them to your logbook as pending flights for you to review.

Why are some flights marked 'pending review'?

Flights imported from your roster or a third-party source are staged as pending so you can confirm the details (aircraft registration, block times, crew, night/IFR portions) before they count toward your totals. Tap the pending banner on the Home screen to review and approve them.

How is night and IFR time calculated?

Night time is computed from the great-circle route between departure and arrival using civil twilight tables at each point along the track. IFR time is entered manually or inferred from filed flight rules when available. You can always edit either value on a flight.

How do I back up or export my logbook?

Go to Settings → Export. Aerolog can produce a CSV, a PDF logbook formatted for authority inspection, and a full JSON backup you can re-import on another device.

How do I delete my account and data?

In Settings → Account, tap 'Delete account'. This permanently removes your logbook, roster subscriptions, and profile from our servers within 30 days. You can also email Support@aerolog.app and we'll process the request for you.

The app is crashing or a flight looks wrong — what should I include when I email you?

Please include your app version (Settings → About), your iOS version, device model, and a short description of what you were doing. If it's about a specific flight, the date and route help us find it quickly.
