Importing a Lufthansa, Ryanair, or easyJet roster into your logbook
Where to find the iCal URL in each carrier's crew portal, how to handle their non-standard duty codes, and how Aerolog stages the flights for review.
Every major carrier publishes an iCal feed of your roster. The URL is different for each airline and sometimes buried three menus deep. Here's where to find it for the carriers we see most often, and what to expect once you paste it into Aerolog.
Lufthansa / Lufthansa Cityline / Eurowings
Log into the eCrew portal. Open Roster → Calendar view, click the three-dot menu top-right, and choose "Export as calendar". Copy the webcal:// URL. Non-flying duties are prefixed OFF, STBY,SIM, and are auto-filtered by Aerolog.
Ryanair
In the CrewDock app, open your roster, tap the Share icon and choose "Subscribe (iCal)". The URL rotates every 12 months — set a calendar reminder to refresh it. Ryanair uses FR#### DUB-STN in the event title; Aerolog parses the flight number automatically and matches it to the registration from the fleet database.
easyJet
Open the Crew Portal, go to My Schedule → Feeds, and copy the "Personal iCal" link. easyJet's feed includes standby, positioning (POS), and airport standby (AS) entries. In Aerolog's roster settings, keep "Include positioning flights" off unless your company logs them.
Wizz Air
The W-Crew app has an "Export roster" option that emails you an .ics file. You can either import that file once or upload it to any calendar service and subscribe Aerolog to the resulting URL. Wizz publishes flight times in local time; Aerolog auto-converts using the flight's departure airport timezone.
British Airways / IAG carriers
In Crew World, go to My Roster → iCal feed. BA's feed uses standard IATA codes but includes deadhead flights as DHD. Aerolog stages them separately so they don't inflate your PIC totals.
Corporate operators (NetJets, VistaJet, Flexjet)
Fractional operators publish rosters through their own crew portals. The workflow is the same: find the iCal feed under "My Schedule", paste it into Aerolog. Aircraft registrations rotate frequently in fractional fleets, so let Aerolog match by tail number rather than typing.
What happens after you paste the URL
Aerolog fetches the feed immediately, filters out non-flying duties (standby, office, sim, training), and stages the remaining flights as pending. Open the pending banner on the home screen, confirm block times and registration, and the flights land in your logbook. Subsequent syncs happen automatically every few hours; you never re-paste the URL.
When it goes wrong
- Feed 404s a few weeks later. The airline rotated the URL. Grab a fresh one and paste it under Settings → Roster sync → Reconnect.
- Every flight shows as one long duty. Your airline publishes rotations as a single event instead of per-sector. Contact us at Support@aerolog.app and we'll add a parser rule for your carrier.
